Why Do We Need Long-Range Electric Vehicles?



For those who might be interested in some Real Science about where all the Global Warming and rising Sea Waters are coming from,Gasoline Creates more Heat than Motion. below is the full stoichiometric chemical equation for the complete combustion of Gasoline.
Stoichiometric Equation for Burning Gasoline.  
This tells us very clearly that for every pound of gasoline that is burnt in a piston engine,
several things in both Physics and Chemistry happen at once.
  1. Gasoline is aerated with air, namely Oxygen, and ignited with a minimum "spark" temperature of 495oF,
  2. The long-chain molecules of Gasoline are instantly broken apart into pure Carbon and Hydrogen molecules,
  3. This instantly consumes about 7 3/4 pounds of Oxygen, the very same Oxygen that all of Nature needs to breath,
  4. In turn, this produces a little under 7 pounds of CO2, and other noxious Sulfur Oxides,
  5. It also produces about a 4/10 of a gallon of Water in the form of Super-Heated Steam,
  6. Most importantly, this explosive re-combination of the energy bonds between that much Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Carbon, also creates about 120,000 BTU's, (British Thermal Units), of Heat Energy, which is also why a radiator is needed, or the engine would literally melt down in minutes,
  7. It is well known in Physics that 120,000 BTU's can raise the temperature of 3750 gallons of water 4o F, and,
  8. ....or melt a 30,000 lb, (500 ft3 = 8'x8'x8') solid block of Ice.
  9. Keep in mind, this is just for One Pound of Gasoline
  10. Now multiple this pound by 6.25 to get gallons of Gas, multiple that by 33 to get number of pounds of Gas in a barrel used in the transportation sector; now multiple that by 35 Trillion barrels over the last 100 years to get the number of pounds of Gasoline have been burnt in the transportation sector alone, just in the US, ( Approx. = 7.22x10^15 pounds burnt, which instantaneously produces the same proportions listed in Lines 3, 4, and 5.
  11. And given Line 6, this equals about 8.66x10^20 BTU's released into our atmosphere over the last Century. 
  12. This is enough Energy to heat-up a square-foot column of Water reaching from the Sun to Neptune just one degree, up to 20o Kelvin.
  13. The extreme scope and scale of fossil fuel combustion for cars in the US alone has produced enough Heat to melt well over a 1000 cubic miles of Polar Ice, enough hot water produced to flood several small islands, and enough CO2 to pollute the entire atmosphere, but still, not enough Oxygen left keep the Oceans' many life cycles alive, much less your own health.

The five main advantages that Electric Motors have over Fueled Engines are simple:
1) Electric Motors don't require fossil fuels,  so
2) they don't burn anything, therefore 3) they don't produce Heat, nor 4) do they produce noxious gases, and most importantly,
5) they don't consume Oxygen.

Burning Fossil Fuels produces more than just pollution.
This is the true Physics of Burning Fossil Fuels. This truly where all the Global Warming is coming from;
directly from your tailpipe, from "burning" every fossil fuel made by mankind, everywhere! This extra atmospheric Heat is not coming from the Sun. This extra Heat and Water are coming directly from burning Man-Made Fossil Fuels.
This epic amount of Heat has not been accounted for by Climatologists;  >>or they would have much more alarming results to report from their computer models....




There are so many ways to make & convert Energy without having to "burn" anything.
By combining multiple techniques from Conservation, to Natural
Sources, Renewables, Tidal, and Weather-Based Systems, together we can easily reach and exceed our daily needs for Energy and Transport, and still live in plenty of clean breathable comfort. 


There are better ways to drive vehicles.
We are creating this globally suffocating CO2 "blanket" over ourselves and cooking away underneath it with the hot exhaust of fossil fuels the whole time. What would you think would happen?
Seriously, the Climatologists have not
accounted for this society-based Thermal Pollution and just how large this astronomical number of 10^20 BTU's truly is. None of the self-important Scientists seem to understand just how much Global Heat has been produced and trapped in our atmosphere over the last 100 years by continuing to burn through our fuel-driven transportation.

Combining over tens years of development work in electric vehicles with my latest patent, U.S. No. 8,928,290, it is now possible to double the driving range of practically any electric vehicle. With proper regenerative braking, with a solid KERS system, the estimated driving ranges can extend well beyond the current range of fuel-driven cars.

This new geometry in PWM Switch-Mode Motor Drives changes the position of the motor in the circuit. This produces a circuit that has both an electrical power output and a mechanical power output. The same circuit is both a motor drive and a power supply. Combining these two, a Switch-Mode Power Supply with Switch-Mode Motor Drive, this invention can easily double the driving range for e-cars, while cutting the energy consumption of e-buses and trains in half.

What is the overall process of "turbo-charging" in a piston engine? By using the wasted "exhaust" gases from primary combustion of the engine in a special fan assembly, the intake pressure can be raised above ambient, pushing much more combustible fuel into the piston chamber.
 
Has anyone thought of turbo-charging an electric motor? By using the wasted "exhaust" electrons from primary driving pulses into the motor with a special SMPS power supply, the input voltage to the motor can be raised above battery, pushing much more current into the motor windings, and saving energy from the battery.
 
By turbo-charging the electric motor instead, the driving distance of an electric vehicle can be extended upwards of 900 miles for every battery charge, far exceeding any fuel based, turbocharged engine. Please review U.S. Patent No. 8,928,290.
 
Sooner than later, we are going to run out of Oil and die in its toxic plumes, but we will never run out of clean electrons from renewable, natural sources. The real survivability on this Planet from this point forward relies on diminishing our use of fossil fuels to zero.

Burning any fuel consumes precious Oxygen and produces CO2, SO, Water, and a tremendous amount of Heat. These by-products of Oil Consumption have already polluted and poisoned the air, land, water, and damaged our food chain beyond repair.

Electric Transportation has now become a global imperative.
 
Besides all that, electric motors have only one moving part.
